Well it's been so long since I have written anything, life has been so hectic. Christmas was spent visiting family in Sydney. A most amazing and difficult holiday. It started with Baby G getting sick the day before we left a sign of what was to come. Both children spent the entire holiday unwell... a virus, sore throats, runny noses and feverishly high temperatures. I felt so blue for them missing out on the wonders of Christmas, felling sick is never easy and being away from home in a hotel room did not make it any easier. Thankfully they both started to feel a little better towards the end and the last few days were jammed with site seeing and some yummy food.
We visited the beautiful and famous Christmas windows' of David Jones Department Store. They were so wonderfully done with beautiful moving puppets and wooden toys.
They weather in Sydney was just a little nippy so looking through the glass upon Santa's winter wonderland was delightful.
David Jones is such a lovely treat, one of the oldest Department Stores in Australia, on the opposite side of the road the Homewares and Food Hall featured beautiful window displays as well.
A Blurry Christmas morning we traveled with some of the gifts and left some behind for our return. A little Christmas cheer certainly helped with the fevers.
