Sydney Kinokuniya

Both Baby G and I love books and stationary. I am so delighted when I see her little face light up. The most special memories I have of my father at Christmas time were in Sydney. My baby sister and I would travel with dad to Sydney, on our school holidays visiting our grandparents. As a treat dad would take us to the biggest book store on George Street and we were allowed to by a new book, anything we wanted, and more often than not if we couldn't make up our cute little minds about which one we wanted we could take both choices.

I love taking Baby G into Kinokuniya, Mr S and I decided this year her gift from us would be money at the book store for her to buy whatever her heart desired. I always find it so hard to say no to books I love that Baby G reads and reads, like me I know that she doesn't feel complete unless she has several books on the go and more in waiting.

I wondered through all the Japanese craft books and cried a silent tear, I didn't ever want to leave this wonderful section, surely this was craft heaven. I have made these big images so you can click them to get a closer look at all the Japanese goodness.

The Engilsh section contained all the best of the best notice the "Seams to Me" by AMH I already own my copy but I was so excited to see it here and I hope heaps of people buy her book and get inspired.
