Sydney Auqarium

A visit to the Sydney Aquarium was really special we went specifically to see the Dugons The Mermaids of the Sea. With only five in captivity any where in the world, two were on display at the Aquarium. Once you get past the whole "oh they are in captivity , it's so cruel" We read a little and educated our selves on the Dugons and we didn't really feel so bad. They were truly spectacular and I would encourage anyone to visit the Sydney Aquarium it really was special and the children loved it. Heaps of pics and by the end of it all little Baby J was truly exhausted. He did really well considering he was running a huge temperature.

















The most beautiful murals were painted on the walls leading down into the underwater observatory. I was totally fascinated by the hours of labor that must have gone into creating such a magical scene.
