Sydney Apple

The truth! I am an Apple girl, always have been and I always will be I will never ever defect!

Baby G is a Christmas Baby so every year we face the dilemma of her gift(s) It always seems like she is given too much for any one little girl to handle, we just don't want her to feel like she misses out ( and she shouldn't) because the two dates are so close. Well this year Baby G only wanted on thing and ipod. ARrrh so expensive! We all pitched in and she got it. An Apple ipod Touch 16GB. I must admit I have never owned anything so special, gadget wize in my life. I wanted it for my self. Family and friends chipped in and gave itunes gift cards and Baby G was, and is still set for the rest of her days. Nothing could surely top this gift. With the way that the world economy is going I think my baby is the luckiest girl in the world and I feel a little guilty for all those children that went without this year.

We stopped past the beautiful new Apple Flagship Store in Sydney and were dazzled by its beautiful minimalist architecture. Baby G even made me take a pic of the elevator buttons so simply set into the wall with only an up or down option. What can I say such a beautiful place to visit and dream.

Back to those thoughts of the children that went without this year, whilst we were in the store the whole of George Street was cut off and a parade of protesters marched down the road crying out for the war to end. The difference between my life, my children's lives and the people caught up in this terrible struggle is so black and white. I feel for them and I only wish that I can make some sort of difference.
